*The Chestnut Man* is a solid Nordic Noir procedural that succeeds on its dark atmosphere, tense mystery, and strong central performances. The story stays engaging as a gritty, fast-paced investigation, though the casting choices at times feel slightly out of step with a traditional Scandinavian setting, introducing minor visual distractions to an otherwise classic crime drama. Overall, it remains an entertaining, suspenseful thriller well worth watching for fans of the genre.
